Tadano lays out global ambitions at Vertikal Days
26 August 2025
Tadano is broadening its lineup at the UK’s Vertikal Days exhibition in September, following its acquisition of Manitex and Nagano, with ambitions of becoming the world’s number one in lifting equipment.

Alongside its traditional crane line up, the company will be exhibiting its new Tadano aerial platform range and Oil & Steel spiders from the Manitex acquisition, as well as PM series articulating cranes and Valla pick and carry cranes.
“With this trade fair appearance, we demonstrate that the integration of the new product lines into the Tadano portfolio is progressing rapidly, and that we are thus providing our customers with a broader range of products than ever before – all under the Tadano brand,” said Lloyd Gee-Nyland, Managing Director UK and Ireland at Tadano, highlighting the benefits of the latest acquisitions.
Tadano added that its ambition is to become the global number one in the lifting equipment industry, with this goal being reflected on its stand (122) at the show, taking place 10-11 September at Newark Showground.
Among the products on display will be the flagship Tadano GR-1000EX-4 rough terrain crane, as well as exhibits from Tadano Valla and Oil & Steel. Also on display will be a telescopic crawler boom from Japan and a Tadano PM series articulating crane.
“We are already looking forward to presenting this broad portfolio to our customers and explaining it in detail,” said Lloyd Gee-Nyland.
