01 October 2026
Speedy Hire in the UK has made a multi-million-pound investment in 25,000 new Hilti tools under a new rolling five-year agreement.
The deal covers more than 60 product lines, including tools from Hilti’s Nuron cordless range, which use the manufacturer’s 22V battery that can be used on multiple tools.
The agreement will be operated through Hilti’s Fleet Management programme, with the manufacturer responsible for service and repairs within agreed timescales through its UK repair centre in Glasgow.

“The agreement strengthens our commitment to delivering an industry-leading hire experience and supporting customers with smarter, lower-emission ways of working.”
Stewart Dowling, Hilti’s national sales director, described it as a landmark agreement meaning that Speedy will have one of the most advanced small tools fleet in the industry; “Through Hilti Fleet Management we aim to reduce Speedy Hire’s operational costs while together delivering a superior customer experience to end users.
“Speedy Hire has a strong footprint with major contractors operating on large projects as well as great market penetration in key market segments. Coupled with our joint commitment to health and safety, circularity and sustainability, we are in a position to make a hugely positive difference to all customers.”
