Spanish rental industry meets in Madrid this Friday

Spain’s rental industry will meet in Madrid this Friday, 1 March, to discuss trends in rental and the ongoing crisis in the country’s construction sector and general economy.

There will be a number of panel discussions on key issues, including a debate on the current status of the equipment rental fleet in Spain and trends towards rental in the construction industry.

Speakers will include representatives from Spanish rental companies and associations, such as Juan José Torres, president of ASEAMAC, the construction equipment rental association; José Manuel Rubias, director general of Loxam Alquiler; Gerd Schreier, director of the earthmoving division of Liebherr Iberica; and Jorge Cuartero, director general of ANMOPYC, the Spanish association of equipment manufacturers.

Michel Petitjean, secretary general of the European rental Association (ERA), participates, as do representatives from Maquinsa, contractor Ferrovial, and aerial platform association ANAPAT.

The meeting takes place in Madrid at the offices of Spanish business association CEOE in the José María Cuevas room, with doors opening at 9.30 am and presentations starting at 10.00 am. The meeting will end at 2.00 pm.
