Skyjack launches its largest compact RT scissor

Skyjack has announced the launch of the SJ6940 RT - the latest addition to its rough terrain scissor lift lineup.

With a working height of 46ft (14.02m) and a platform capacity of 800lbs (362.874kg), the lift tops out the compact RT scissor range, and, says the company, delivers the longest working area in its class with a platform measuring 14ft 10in (4.52m) in length, with the roll-out deck extended.

An oscillating front steer axle tackles tough jobsite terrain and auto-leveling outriggers, and is optional on ANSI/CSA models, while standard on CE/AS models. 

The SJ6940 RT is now available in the North American, South American, European, and Australian markets and willl be on show at ConExpo in Las Vegas, during the first week of March, and at The ARA Show in Orlando during the same week.

The SJ6940 RT also features a 4-wheel driveline with wheel motors, torque hubs, and an oscillating front axle and a 35% gradeability rating for mobility across challenging terrain.
