Sinoboom to present updates and tech at ConExpo

The more than 10 different products on show include the latest versions of its telescopic and articulating booms, slab and RT scissor lifts, and vertical mast lifts, with a range of upgrades for enhanced performance.

They include the compact AB430ERJN and AB490ERJN articulating boom lifts, which are optimised for the rental sector; the diesel-powered 5389RD RT scissor lift, which features a new powerful engine; the all-electric 2732E All scissor lift, offering zero hydraulic oil leakage; and the electric TB860EJ Plus Li telescopic boom lift, fitted with an Extension Range Module (ERM). 

The versatile VM200E AL and ML270EJ vertical mast lifts, also on how, are designed for a range of applications such as warehousing and logistics scenarios.

The models will include a variety of new Sinoboom featuresdesigned to improve operational efficiency and reduce overall costs, including, the Collision Avoidance Radar System (CARS) for boom lifts, which deploys high-tech sensing technology to provide protection against

collisions even in poor visibility conditions, with three distinct levels of action:

• Early warning with audible and visual alerts when approaching an obstacle
• Reduction of the speed of operations if movement towards obstacle continues
• Active braking in the case of imminent danger

There is also the Dual-variable Control Energy-Saving System (DVCS), which ensures an optimal power output at all times and a dramatically improved battery life, and an updated 7-inch screen which provides multiple functions - Simple, manual- and tool-free diagnostics for easy troubleshooting, and end-to-end data monitoring covering the motor controller, battery, and telematics system. In addition there are enhanced security via features such as facial recognition to prevent unauthorized operation and a black box function enhancing security management.
