Rectitude Pte Ltd, a Singapore supplier of safety equipment and battery energy storage systems, has signed agreements with two Singapore rental companies for the rental of BESS systems in Singapore, South East Asia and the Middle East.

The two rental partners are Vantage Equipment & Services and Pansik Technology, both construction equipment rental businesses.

The non-binding, “potential collaboration” deal with Vantage covers a three year period for rentals of Rectitude’s Chinese-built BESS systems in Singapore, South East Asia and the Middle East. Rectitude said the agreement could generate rental revenues of S$10 million (€6.6 million) over the period.

The agreement with Pansik Technology, covering South East Asia, Australia and the Middle East, sees Pansik becoming a rental and leasing partner for Rectitude’s AIMS BESS units and includes an order for S$2.3 million (€1.5 million) worth of equipment within two months.

Jian Zhang, the chairman and CEO of Rectitude, said the Vantage signing “represents another major step forward in expanding our clean energy business.

“Leveraging the experience and foundation established through our regional partnerships, we believe this collaboration with Vantage would strengthen our market presence, accelerate adoption of our Super Sun energy storage systems, and support our long-term vision to lead Asia’s transition toward a more sustainable and energy-resilient future.”

Founded in 1997 in Singapore, Rectitude – whose shares are traded on the Nasdaq exchange - sells safety equipment including personal protective clothing, gloves, safety footwear, fall arrest systems, portable fire extinguishers and traffic products.

In recent years it has added battery energy storage products to its product range, sourced from Chinese manufacturer Nanjing Starship Intelligent Storage Technology Co.
