Rental’s biggest suppliers: 2025 Yellow Table ranks the world’s largest OEMs

The latest ranking of the biggest construction equipment manufacturers in the world has been revealed.

Published in the latest edition of International Construction magazine, the Yellow Table lists the top 50 biggest OEMs by their annual revenue for 2024 in US dollars.

The newest edition of the Yellow Table showed that the world’s 50 largest construction OEMs generated a total revenue of US$237.6 billion.

That represented a fall of 2.4% as compared to the prior year, demonstrating the tougher trading environment that OEMs have found themselves operating in.

Yellow Table 2025: The top 10

Caterpillar remained the world’s biggest OEM, with revenue more than US$11 billion than its second-placed rival, Komatsu.

There were few other changes within the top 10, other than Hitachi Construction Machinery leapfrogging Volvo Construction Equipment to move into seventh place.

In fact, there was only one change to the top 10, as Sweden’s Sandvik broke back in, at the expense of Doosan Bobcat, which is now 11th.

Companies based in Asia generated the highest percentage of the figure at 44.3%, followed by Europe at 27.9% and North America at 27.5%. The rest of the world generated just 0.3%.
