Ramirent to sponsor 2012 European athletics championship

Ramirent has signed a sponsorship agreement for the 2012 European Athletics Championships being held in Finland next summer. As part of the agreement it will be the exclusive equipment rental partner for the event.

The European Championships are being held in Helsinki on 27 June to 1 July and Ramirent - one of nine main partners signed up so far - will supply scaffolding, portable accommodation, containers, fences, aerial platforms and power at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium.

Ramirent said the event would provide "a great deal of positive visibility" for Ramirent internationally and in all the countries in which it operates, and in particular in Finland, which is one of its most important markets.

Jari Töykkä, marketing director of the Helsinki European championships, said; "Ramirent is an excellent partner for the [event]. As a leading company in its field in Europe, Ramirent is a perfect addition to our group of main partners".
