UK-based Quick Reach Powered Access has taken delivery of four MEC 6092RT Ultra-Deck rough terrain scissor lifts, as well as a range of Genie booms and mast boom lifts.

Quick Reach purchased its first MEC 6092RT at Vertikal Days in May and has since ordered another three.

David Barton, director and co-founder of Quick Reach Powered Access, said, “This extends our scissor lift offering beyond the 15m platform heights available from other manufacturers and has proved very popular with our customers.”

The MEC 6092RT has 18.2m (60ft) with a 600kg lift capacity. Its Ultra-Deck dual roll-out extensions provide an overall platform length of 7.5m. Standard features include MEC’s Quad-Trax true 4WD, active oscillating axle for rough terrain and auto-levelling outriggers for increased productivity. With a 2.34m wide chassis and a gross weight of 9,200kg two machines can fit on a single flatbed trailer.

“Our customers particularly love the deck size,” added David. “It gives them a huge working area which enhances productivity - especially when you have several guys and their equipment in the platform.”

APS, the exclusive UK distributor for MEC AWP, supplied the machines to Quick Reach. As authorised Genie dealer it also provided Quick Reach with a number of Genie rough terrain articulating booms - Z51/30s and Z60/34s, plus Genie GR20 Runabouts.
