It is anticipated that the purchase will extend the presence of both the Pramac and Generac brands in the South African market.
Future products added to the existing range will include new diesel and gaseous gen sets, together with lighting solutions and battery energy storage systems.
Key sectors will include data centers, industrial applications, telecoms, healthcare and mining.
“New Way Power has built a strong presence in Southern Africa through its technical expertise, local manufacturing capabilities and long-standing relationships with customers and partners,” said Niccolò Borracchini, CEO of Pramac.
“By combining these strengths with Pramac’s global portfolio, technologies and international reach, we aim to create new opportunities and provide customers across the region with increasingly comprehensive and reliable energy solutions.”
