Point of Rental appoints global director of customer support

US software specialist Point of Rental has appointed Brooke Ryan as its new global director of customer support.

Ryan, who started the new role in June, joins the company having spent the last six years with US-based energy software provider Quorum Software.

Throughout her time with Quorum, she held several senior positions, including manager of customer success, senior manager of customer success and, more recently, director of customer success.

In a career in customer relations that has spanned 11 years, she started her career at Texas-based oilfield service company WellEz, before it was acquired by Quorum in 2017. 

According to Point of Rental, she will be primarily focused on the “growth, success and mission” of the existing scustomer support team. 

Darrin Smith, Point of Rental’s VP of customer experience, said, “Providing an excellent customer experience and maintaining a happy, productive relationship with our users is critical to all of us at Point of Rental.”

“Brooke has a great track record of bringing support teams together in a fast-growing software company and creating great experiences; I’m looking forward to seeing her influence our team.”

Ryan added, “We want to empower customers to use our software. When people call in and they’ve got an issue, it’s affecting their business. It needs to be handled quickly and professionally.

“At the end of the day, the number one priority is making sure that our teams are prepared and trained and have the right tools to better serve our customers.”
