A picture and more information has been released about the new P 750 truck mount being launched at Bauma by Palfinger Platforms.

The new addition is the biggest in the Jumbo NX class and joins the P 480, P 550 and P 640. Its working height is 75m and lateral outreach 39m, allowing work to carry on without the truck having to move.

The Jumbo NX class offers sensitive proportional control with additional X-jib between the upper boom and the basket. It can be separately controlled for exceptionally precise positioning and allows a working range of 240 degrees.

The basket rotates 2 x 200 degrees and offers the same flexibility as a wrist on an outstretched arm, says the manufacturer, and can be aligned with buildings or masts or beneath overhangs. "This enables maximum precision within a large reach," says Karl Reinfurt, Palfinger Platforms product manager. "Incorporating this aspect into all our Jumbo NX class access platforms was important to us. Our goal is large reach along with plenty of freedom of movement."

The P 750, like the P 640, comes with a fully automatic lubrication system for the lower boom as standard.

A weight-optimised design also allows more freedom with the truck. Special profile components and lightweight, strong materials keep the overall weight as low as possible, allowing more tools, working accessories and material to be transported on the vehicle. The generous space available in the basket makes work more effective, said the manufacturer.
