Palazzani ups capacity and working areas

Palazzani has updated two of its spider lift models to increase their basket capacities and working area, as well as advancing its automtic stabilisation system across furtther models.

The TSJ 27 and TSJ 30.1 were originally designed with 120kg and 230kg basket capacity, are were all units in TSJ range.

To meet the needs of the two specific projects, Palazzani’s R&D department increased the capacity of both models with three options of 120kg, 230kg, and 330kg.

Following the update these modifications have become a permanent fixtures of the pair of models, meaning they now offer a third working area, as well as the three different capacities.

The customer requests came from a need for an additional person in the basket or additional material, mainly for indoor or outdoor maintenance and general rental applications. The modification required extensive calculations, tests and new software, as well as a new CE certification.

The first two units have already been delivered to customers and the update has been included in the list of available options for both models.

Stay tuned for more product news in the small and medium ranges, said Palazzani, along with updates on the completion of the company’s 58m working height TTZJ 58, first shown at Bauma in October last year.

Stabilisation upgrade

In further Palazzani news, the company has updated its automatic working area set up system. The pre-existing electromechanical sensors that positioned the stabilizers, have been replaced with encoded RFID electronic sensors. This upgrade increases safety and as it detects in real time the status of the sensor.

RFID electronic sensors give immediate feedback to both the operator and the machine software and fully meet the requirements of EN ISO 13849-1.

The sensors also provide protection against potential tampering with a machine, thanks to the unique code transmitted by the actuator. Free of mechanical contacts, these sensors guarantee a long service life even in systems subject to frequent use and operations in hostile environmental conditions.

The technology has already been applied to a number of spiders, including the TSJ 35.1, XTJ 37+ and XTJ 52+ and will be gradually installed across the Palazzani range.
