Rental company Faster Enterprise in Thailand has sold two new Palazzani spider lifts to Phuket International Airport.

The Bangkok-based company, which provides both rental and sales, supplied the airport with a Palazzani TZX 225 and a TSJ 25.

Mr Worapat, the owner and manager of Faster Enterprise, said, “We have sold the Palazzani spiders to several shopping malls and to Phuket airport; we also have a regular rental contract for maintenance at Suvarnnabhumi airport in Bangkok. All these buildings present very limited access conditions and the only means able to overcome them was with the Palazzani spider lifts.”

Equipped with a 200kg capacity cage, Phuket Airport’s new TZX 225 has a maximum working height of 22.5m and an outreach of 10.2m. It is powered by an electric motor and lead acid batteries for indoor use and includes non-marking tyres that make it suitable for use on delicate floor surfaces.

While the airport’s TZX 225 is fitted with a 200kg capacity cage, its new TSJ 25 is equipped with a 250kg capacity basket and offers a working height of 25m. The Bi-energy model is fitted with a diesel engine and an electric motor and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.

According to Palazzani, the machines will be used to carry out maintenance works at the airport.
