Nishio Rent All consolidates rental subsidiaries

Nishio Rent All in Japan is to fold several of its Japanese rental subsidiaries into its main business and has sold off its metals processing business.

From October next year it will consolidate Shoji Co., Ltd., a general rentals business in the Kyushu region, with the main Nishio operation. It said the move would improve efficiency and help it generate ¥10 billion (€55 million) annual sales in the Kyushu market within three years.

Earlier this year it completed the integration of its Sacos rental subsidiary in Tokyo, with the aim of generating sales of Yen70 billion (€388 million) in the Toyo metropolitan area within five years.

Said the company; “In the rental business for general-purpose construction machinery, the two companies have traditionally divided roles. However, in order to strengthen the Tokyo metropolitan market and improve operational efficiency, the businesses were consolidated in April 2025.”

At the same time Nishio Rent All said it would strengthen its tunnelling machinery rental and sales business by integrating Yamazaki Machinery, which imports and sells Volvo CE machinery, with its tunnel construction rental business Nishio T&M.

“We determined that greater synergy could be achieved by integrating the sales and rental operations”, said Nishio. That integration will be carried out in January 2026. As a result, the tunnelling division will grow to over ¥10 billion (€55 million) in sales.

Nishio has also exited the metals processing business by selling all the shares of Otsuka Kogyo Co., Ltd.

It was the oldest company in the Nishio group, but “it is a manufacturing-focused business. We determined that generating synergy within the group would be difficult”.
