New website for Global Rental Alliance

05 July 2022

The Global Rental Alliance (GRA), an international networking organisation for equipment rental associations, has launched a new website designed to share resources and best practices in three areas: ‘People’, ‘Promotion’ and ‘Sustainability.’

The site - at https://globalrentalalliance.org/ - features information about GRA member associations, GRA news, updates from the members and details of initiatives, courses and events.

GRA member associations include the Brazilian Rental Association, the Construction Equipment Rental Association (India), the Canadian Rental Association, the European Rental Association, Hire Association Europe, Hire Industry Association of New Zealand, Hire and Rental Industry Association (Australia) and the Japanese Construction Rental Association.

Formed in 2003 to promote the rental industry worldwide, the GRA’s mission is to enable members to learn from one another and discuss issues common to the rental sector globally, such as promotion, sustainability, digitalisation, market penetration, safety, training and skills, and attracting talent to the industry.

Since 2021, the GRA Secretariat has been managed by the European Rental Association.

The European Rental Association described the GRA as “an important vehicle over the years for promoting the industry around the world” adding that the association has expanded from its original six members to eight members today from Europe, North and South America, Asia and Australasia.
