New telematics integrations from MCS Rental Software
12 October 2026
MCS Rental Software has announced that 23 new telematics providers are now connnected to its Telematics Hub, taking the total to 39.
The added integrations include telematics systems from Caterpillar, Manitou, Mecalac, Niftylift, Wacker Neuson, Skyjack, Genie, Jekko, Ausa and Generac Mobile.
It means rental businesses can access telematics data through the MCS digital rental platform, adding telematics information to daily workflows and speeding up equipment management. It will also help rental businesses operating mixed fleets.
MCS has built MCP (Model Context Protocol) functionality into its software, integrating AI models to allow fleet managers to question telematics data using plain English.
The data can be used to identify machine over-usage, for example, and provides data to support accurate CO₂ reporting.
Access via online portal
The software firm said the AI functions can extend into the MCS online portal, allowing rental customers to access CO₂ and fuel usage reports directly.
“This is particularly valuable for rental businesses that need to report on emissions and fuel usage as part of their legal and sustainability requirements”, said MCS.
Nick Thomson, chief sales officer at MCS, said; “These new telematics integrations make it so much easier for rental businesses to access information as part of their normal day-to-day workflows. Rather than having to log into a separate provider platform, our customers can now access equipment information and view telematics data all in one place.
“With 39 telematics providers now connected to the MCS Telematics Hub, we’re able to support a huge range of equipment, including telehandlers, MEWPs, forklifts, cranes, generators, light towers and more.
“Our goal is to make telematics data a natural part of the rental operation, rather than something teams have to access separately.”
