New Power Solutions MD for Aggreko

Temporary power provider Aggreko has appointed Nicolas Fournier as managing director of its Power Solutions business.

The company said the appointment would take effect on 2 November. Aggreko shifted its organisational structure earlier this year to move from a regional structure to two separate business units: Rental Solutions and Power Solutions.

Mr Fournier brings over 25 years of international experience in different industries across Europe, Asia and the Middle East, including 20 years for cement producer Lafarge, where his roles included strategic projects, regional president cement, Central Europe & CIS, and CEO gypsum Asia.

Aggreko chief executive Chris Weston said, "Nicolas has relevant experience in emerging markets and the industrial sector in particular, which combined with his leadership skills and ability to drive improved business performance will bring further expertise to Aggreko. I am delighted to be able to welcome him to the Group and look forward to working together on delivering our business priorities."
