Dingli has launched a series of articulated booms, based on its T series telescopic lifts.

The 36m, 41m and 44m working height units have a load capacity of 272kg and continues the modular design of Dingli’s complete range, with 85% of parts being common and diesel, electric and hybrid models all being developed on the same platform.

The T-series articulated booms have adopted the manufacturer’s patented one-click in-situ axle expansion system, which carries over from the T series straight boom chassis. The axle can be retracted and expanded in narrow spaces while standing still, with no need to drive. The design also means there is no tyre wear during the process.

A 230 degree upper jib can be hooked back in transport configuration and is the only articulated boom series in its class that can be transported in standard containers, says the manufacturer.

High safety

The entire T series confirms to Cat 3 safety standards with full redundancy of software and hardware, physical redundancy of the communication bus, dual channels and dual insurance.

In terms of driving, the new series offers maximum gradeability up to 45% and has four steering modes: front and rear wheel steering, crab steering, U-turn. The different modes can be easily switched to suit various working sites.

As large working height units, the T series articulated boom can be extended to provide a maximum up and over clearance of18.8m, with the maximum below ground reach being 9.65m.

The new articulated additions, which are now production ready, join the T series to offer nine articulated boom models, with 36m, 41m, and 44m working height in diesel, electric, and hybrid versions. Dingli’s complete T boom series now comprises 18 models overall.
