Micke Rydbeck will take over as CEO of Kranpunkten on 1 October. He succeeds Fredrik Paulsson, co-founder and long-serving CEO, who will move to a non-executive role on the board.

Rydbeck joins Sweden-based Kranpunkten from his role as head of sales and marketing at Volvo Trucks in Norway. As CEO, he will lead Kranpunkten’s continued development and strengthen the company’s position as a specialist in lifting equipment for construction and industry, said the company.
“After many years in management, it feels good to hand over the CEO role. Micke taking over is a natural step for Kranpunkten. I look forward to continuing to contribute my experience and knowledge,” said Paulsson.
Rydbeck added, “I am really looking forward to leading Kranpunkten. The company has a strong culture, an attractive offering and a clear position in its niche. Together with Kranpunkten’s skilled employees, I want to build on what works well and further develop solutions that meet our customers’ needs. Our ambition is to achieve profitable growth and gain market share.”
Paulsson will remain a board member following the transition. “This combines continuity with new operational leadership as the company enters its next phase,” added the company.
