Multitel order for complex London tree care

Thor’s Trees, an arboriculture company based in London, UK, has added a Multitel MZ 250 truck mounted platform to its fleet.

Founded in 2015, Thor’s Trees has grown into a well-established specialist serving London and the surrounding area.

The business specialises in the management and care of mature, large and technically complex trees, working with a wide range of clients including homeowners, estates, commercial properties and public sector organisations.

Operating in challenging urban environments across London and the South East, the company needed a platform capable of combining strong outreach with compact dimensions and ease of operation.

Thor’s Trees selected the Multitel MZ 250 articulated platform installed on a 3.5-tonne vehicle, offering a maximum working height of 25.10m and a horizontal outreach of 14.35m.

Demanding environments 

The platform allows a basket capacity of 250kg up to 10.35m outreach, providing an ideal balance between reach, stability and compact size - a key requirement when working on busy urban streets or residential sites, said the company.

Thanks to the articulated jib, the MZ 250 can also operate in negative positions down to –2.5 m..
