Mollo acquires Tuscan rental firm
04 December 2023
Italian rental company Mollo Noleggio has acquired Tuscany-based Edilservice. Financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed.
Headquartered in Siena, Edilservice has been active in the region for more than 30 years and specialises in the rental of machinery and equipment for construction, including earthmoving, road and lifting, compaction and compressors.
It also provides a technical assistance service with specialised personnel in the inspection and maintenance of equipment.
Mollo Noleggio said the acquisition is part of a wider growth strategy to purchase “competent and reliable companies with consolidated experience, deeply rooted in their original territory, and sharing the same values”.
It added that Edilservice, which becomes the fifth Mollo center in Tuscany and 54th in Italy, will be able to provide customers with “a solid structure capable of offering a wide range of high-quality equipment and services, along with cutting-edge digital solutions.”
Mauro Mollo, president of Mollo Noleggio, said, “The Mollo ‘team’ continues to grow, and we are proud to welcome a well-established, competent entity with excellent references like Edilservice into our Group.
“We confirm the Mollo Group’s intention to expand nationally, even beyond existing boundaries. Thanks to a solid structure and a well-established organisation, we are ready to welcome new collaborators, enhance mutual expertise, with the goal of continuously improving service to our customers and achieving increasingly significant milestones together.”
The purchase of Edilservice follows recent acquisitions of Monia Noleggi, Parmiani Noleggi, PMP and Manetta Noleggi.
