Modulaire looks for new CEO

Modulaire Group, owner of the Algeco and Ausca portable accommodation businesses, said its CEO Pavan Pattada is to leave the business to pursue new opportunities in the USA.

Pattada is leaving just a year after becoming CEO. Before Modulaire he held senior positions at Eaton and Westinghouse Electrical Co.

Modulaire said it has started a search for a successor and in the meantime the group will be led by its chairman, Richard Ingram, who is a managing director at Brookfield Business Partners, the private equity company that has owned Modulaire since 2021.

“We thank Pavan for his leadership and for the important role he has played in guiding our strategic direction,” said Ingram, “The transformation plans he has architected are clear and will continue to be our ongoing focus.”

The board said Modulaire remained on track with its plans and is “well-positioned to continue to deliver on its operational and financial goals.”

Before joining Brookfield in 2019, Ingram held various senior positions at Smith Detection, Zodiac Aerospace Electrical Systems, United Technologies and Goodrich. He holds an MBA from Warwick Business School and BSc and BA degrees in engineering from the University of Manchester.

Modulaire runs portable accommodation and storage rental businesses in Europe and Asia Pacific, including the brands Algeco (Europe), Advanté (UK) Altempo (France), Ausco and NET Modular (Australia) and Portacom (New Zealand).
