US storage specialist Mobile Mini has purchased the assets and operations of Allstate Containers for an undisclosed sum.

Based in Tennessee, with locations in Knoxville and Chattanooga, Allstate will add around 2,600 rental units to the Mobile Mini fleet, which spans more than 130 depots in the USA, Canada and the United Kingdom.

“We continue to execute on our growth strategy by pairing internal revenue growth with strategic acquisitions of high returning assets,” said the company’s president and CEO Erik Olsson.

“Knoxville and Chattanooga are good markets that continue to grow, and this acquisition allows us to further strengthen our position in Tennessee, without adding significant costs.”

Mobile Mini will announce its financial results for the second quarter of 2015 this Thursday, 23 July.
