Mateco acquisition expands presence in Germany

Mateco has acquired Germany-based access and forklift rental specialist Induma Rent, expanding its presence to the greater Stuttgart area.

In 2024 Induma Rent achieved sales of more €4 million with its fleet of around 300 machines. Under the acquisition Mateco said all existing Induma customers will retain their existing contacts at the company, as its location along with all 15 employees will remain in place. 

“Local proximity is one of our key customer promises, which we pursue through the continuous expansion of our branch network,” said Mateco.

Commenting on the acquisition, which has taken effect retroactively from 31 December 2024, Alexander Bradfisch, Managing Director of Mateco GmbH, said, “We are delighted to welcome Induma Rent, a strong local partner, into the Mateco Group.

“Through this integration, we not only gain additional work platforms and forklifts, but above all valuable knowhow and special expertise in the field of forklift technology.”
