Liftright acquisition first step in UK rental network

Hirepro Holdings UK has acquired Liftright Access, with the aim of gaining a foothold in the powered access rental market. 

Fast-growing UK-based powered access specialist Liftright Access is based in Wilstead, Bedfordshire and serves the Bedford, Luton and Milton Keynes town areas and the surrounding counties of Cambridgeshire, Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire. Originally acquired in 2011 by husband and wife team Gary and Caroline Fleckney, the business has grown significantly as a specialist in the hire and sale of powered access equipment.

Roland Llewellin, managing director of Hirepro UK, which has been set up to establish a network of rental businesses, said, “Liftright Access ticked all the boxes for us. It is not only an excellent business in its own right, but gives us a foothold in the important powered access sector.

“It also extends our current coverage of the Central Southwest area through Surrey Hire and Sale to coverage of the Central /Southeast region through Liftright Access.”
