Liebherr inaugurates new branch in Saudi Arabia

The opening ceremony was attended by Mr. Khaled Juffali, Chairman of the Board of Saudi Liebherr Company Ltd., members of the Liebherr Board of Directors, and H.E. Michael Kindsgrab, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The company said the Riyadh facility will serve as a fully equipped hub for its activities in the central region, offering a comprehensive range of services including sales, aftersales support, spare parts and technical services across Liebherr’s product divisions represented in Saudi Arabia.

Liebherr said the new branch strengthens its ability to meet growing demand in one of the Kingdom’s most dynamic regions.

“Our new branch in Riyadh represents an important step forward for our organisation in Saudi Arabia,” said Ajanthas Kumarathas, Managing Director of Saudi Liebherr Company Ltd.

“By moving closer to our customers we are strengthening our ability to provide efficient support and high quality services that reflect the values of the Liebherr Group.”

Liebherr first entered the Saudi market in 1983 following the formation of its joint venture with the Juffali Group.

The company distributes the full range of Liebherr construction machines in the Kingdom through its head office in Jeddah and branches in Dammam and the Riyadh region.

Since its establishment, Saudi Liebherr Company has been involved in several major projects, including Jeddah International Airport, the Riyadh Metro Project and the Financial District Riyadh.
