LGMG updates across range

LGMG -2 series Part of the new -2 range.

LGMG has launched its new -2 series of MEWPS at Bauma China in Shanghai last week, covering articulating and telescopic booms and scissor lifts.

The new series have working heights from 8m to 44m and feature a new innovative structure, electrical and hydraulic technology.

The structural component of all the new products are designed to be lightweight yet solid and durable, effectively reducing energy consumption, and improving working time.

The new -2 series boom lifts are available in both diesel-driven and battery-powered models.

All new electric models, including scissors and booms are equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM), combining motor and controller as one, which is designed to be maintenance-free for the life of the machine.

Notably, the -2 series telescopic boom lifts under 28m working height have a new Parallelogram tower boom deign to provide greater reach, including over obstacles. Models over 34m working height are equipped with an X-type chassis, which can be expanded on the worksite, to provide compact dimenssions for transportation and work in confined areas.

“The new structure design reduces stowed and transportation dimensions, making the products easy to transport via container and trailer, thereby lowering logistics costs,” said the company.

Through the new designs modularization and standardization of products has also been addressed to enhance the universality of components across the range.
