Klubb busts the boundaries with new van mount

Klubb says it has revolutionised the 17m working van mount segment, with a new model that will be exhibited for the first time at APEX, taking place in June this year.

The KL17P is unique in the industry, said Klubb, through its blend of lightness and performance, designed for demanding applications. 

With a total weight of 3,100kg, on a full tank, The KL17P maintains optimal payload while being drivable with a standard Category B license.

The platform capacity accommodates two people and up to 250kg, with a working height of 17.3m and jib. A notable feature is its outreach, of 6.6 m with 250kg, 7.6 m with 200kg, 9m with 120kg and 10.5m with 80kg,

The machine can be operated with or without outriggers. “Operating directly on wheels reduces cycle times during medium-height operations,” said the company. 

Premium features 

Standard features includes home function, which quickly returns the basket to the stowed position and automatic stabilisation, with outriggers operated directly from the basket.

Then there is IUS (Intelligent Usage Stability) Technology - the company’s latest innovation that automatically adapts outreach based on the slope.

In addition, the basket controls have been completely redesigned. An integrated 4.3-inch colour screen now guides the operator through the KL17P’s functionalities. These intuitive controls enable simultaneous proportional movement.

Furthermore, operator safety is enhanced by standard capacitive sensors for the ‘dead man’ function, preventing any involuntary movements.

Production of the new platform has begun at Klubb’s Ferrières-en-Brie facility in France, serving both the European and export markets.
