Software company Klipboard, whose solutions include the former InspHire-branded rental software, has launched Klipboard Money, a integrated payments system.

The company said the new offering is fully integrated with its existing rental management system, allowing rental depots to take payments and manage deposits, extensions and damage charges.

It said every payment - at the counter, on an invoice, online or on the move - is connected into a single, sector-specific workflow. Klipboard Money is available in Europe, North America and Australia.

Klipboard has launched Kliboard Money, a payments system fully integrated with its software.

“For too long, payments have been treated as a separate function, something businesses have had to bolt on and work around”, said Lochan Sim, VP Payments at Klipboard.

“That approach has quietly eroded margins, created costly workarounds and slowed growth.”

He said embedding payments into business operations transformed payments “from a source of friction into a genuine growth engine – helping customers get paid faster, operate more efficiently and scale without added complexity.”

Early users of the system include events rental company Powerhouse Hire & Production Services, which said it gave its customers “a more polished, seamless experience.”

Klipboard Money supports a variety of payment scenarios, including payment links and QR codes in invoices; deposits and prepayments to secure rentals; in-store payments; payments through a website or portal; and repeat billing using securely stored payment details.

Klipboard at Executive Hire Show

Meanwhile, the company exhibited at the UK’s Executive Hire Show, demonstrating its range of OnRent branded software, comprising OnRent Office, OnRent One and OnRent GO.

Graham Dobbs, managing director of Klipboard Rental, told IRN that the Cloud-native GO product, launched over a year ago and based on the Microsoft Azure online platform, represented the future direction of its software.

GO is already being offered with built-in AI functionality, allowing users to interrogate their data, contracts, customer and fleet information.

One aspect of GO is that it is designed to be easy to implement. Dobbs said around 40% of its GO users set up the software themselves.
