Kiloutou presents supplier environmental award

Kiloutou has presented its Environmental Trophy for Equipment Manufacturers award to Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE).

Volvo CE was recognised for its construction equipment and commercial vehicles (Volvo Trucks), as well as its commitment to a business model that combines sustainability and performance.

Kiloutou also highlighted the proactive climate strategy put in place by Volvo, the ambitious environmental roadmap set by the company  and the alternative solutions it offers. 

Davy Guillemard, president of Volvo CE France, said, “This award honours the Volvo Group and confirms our commitment to a proactive climate strategy initiated many years ago.

“We are pleased to receive this award, it is a recognition of the Volvo Group as a leader in Services & Solutions that contribute to sustainable development, to reducing our carbon footprint and to shaping the world we want to live in.”

“By awarding the trophy to Volvo, we are recognising an approach that benefits everyone and offers concrete solutions for reducing the environmental impact of construction sites.”

Launched in 2021 as part of the Group’s environmental, social and territorial impact strategy, Kiloutou says the award “promotes equipment manufacturers for proactive climate strategy, consideration of environmental issues in R&D policies and the development of alternative solutions.”
