Kennards Hire makes New South Wales acquisition

Kennards Hire in Australia has acquired Skylift Hire & Rental, a rental business based in Albury, New South Wales and covering the Albury-Wodonga region, spanning New South Wales and Victoria.

Skylift Hire was a one-location rental business providing a range of equipment.

Nathan Powers, area manager at Kennards Hire, said, “Albury is an important regional community for Kennards Hire, and we’re pleased to be strengthening our presence in the area.

“It gives us the opportunity to support more local businesses and customers, while building on the strong relationships Skylift has developed over many years.

“With the Skylift team now part of Kennards Hire, our focus is on continuing those strong local relationships and giving the team the equipment, resources and support they need to keep delivering for customers across the region.”

The Albury location will be led by branch manager Cameron Allen, who joined Kennards in 2022 and who now assumes his first branch manager role.

Allen said; “I’ve had some great opportunities to learn and grow since joining Kennards Hire, so stepping into a branch manager role and helping build the business in a new region is a really rewarding next step for me.”
