Kennards continues Victoria expansion
04 January 2024
Australia-based equipment rental company Kennards Hire has opened a new branch in Ballarat, Victoria.
The 2,822m2 branch, which offcially opened at the end of November, is the 38th the company has opened in Victoria and its first Victorian purpose-built branch.
The company said the branch will help it deliver “significant transformational capital works programs” in the region and marks the continuation of its recent expansion into southern regional Victoria.
The branch offers a selection of brand-new core equipment and larger earthmoving, compaction and specialist products.
It will be led by branch manager Andrew Lloyd, who will be supported Paul Woodhouse, John Brjozovsky and fellow Ballarat locals Maddi O’Connor and Len Quirk.
Lance Hawes, Victorian general manager, Kennards, said the opening also comes off the back of regional customers requesting more support in recent years; “We’re so excited to have opened our first purpose-built branch in the state, which enabled us to design the branch and choose brand new equipment that we knew would be the best fit for our customers.
“As a family owned and operated business, it was important for us to draw from the strong local knowledge of the community as we build our fantastic new team under the capable leadership of branch manager, Andrew Lloyd.”
