JLG appoints Riwal in Norway

Premium Content

JLG has appointed rental group Riwal as its distributor for Norway.

The latest agreement will see Riwal extend its already extensive European coverage for JLG, with responsibility for sales, marketing, training and after sales service for the full JLG aerial range in Norway. Riwal will serve customers across the rental, construction, manufacturing and logistics sectors.

Karel Huijser, JLG EMEAIR’s vice president and managing director, commented, “We are excited to extend our partnership with Riwal in Norway. Their presence in the country and knowledge of the market will contribute to further growth of our products and service in the region.”

Last year the two companies celebrated the 25th anniversary of Riwal being an official JLG distributor, with representation in the Netherlands, Poland, Kazakhstan and the Balkan countries.

Pedro Torres, CEO of Riwal, said, “Our highly motivated teams in the Nordics will be able to extensively develop the local access equipment business which has great potential as new equipment purchases are increasingly prevalent alongside traditionally used equipment procurement.”

Jesper Becker, equipment sales manager in Nordics, added, “With the official dealership of JLG in Norway and the opportunity to offer our customers the full range of products from the world’s leading manufacturer we look forward to strengthening the market position for JLG and Riwal in Norway. With great enthusiasm, we will be working as a full service partner for both our existing customers and all new customers.”
