JCB previews new compact soil compactor to rental firms at IRE

UK-based construction equipment manufacturer JCB has showcased one of two new soil compactors to rental customers at the International Rental Exhibition (IRE) in Maastricht in the Netherlands.

The new VM78D, a 7.1-tonne soil compactor, took pride of place on JCB’s stand at IRE (2-4 June), ahead of its launch in Q3 of 2026.
