Reminder: still time to submit IRN100 survey data

We remind our rental company readers that we are still lookinmg for IRN100 data for our annual listing of the world’s largest equipment rental companies.

The original deadline for data was 1 May but we will accept information after this date if more time is required.

The requested information is the same as in past years, but with the additional question of average fleet age. That extra information will give us a richer picture of trends in the rental industry over time.

Survey forms are being sent to more than 150 companies around the world, but companies are invited to submit the data listed below by email to: [email protected].

What size and types of rental company?

The IRN100 survey is open to companies renting construction, industrial and events-related equipment, covering construction machinery, aerial platforms, tools, power/HVAC, temporary accommodation and mobile cranes.

The survey is focused on a company’s rental-related activities, meaning rental revenues, used equipment sales, and sales of new equipment, as long as these new equipment sales are not the primary business.

What size of a business will get into the top 100? Typically the company ranked 100 in the list will have revenues around €100 million. We are interested in receiving data from any company with revenues exceeding €75 million, because we include a ‘near misses’ list in the final survey.
