Preserving rental assets by preventing rollover of articulated rollers is the objective of an electronic system, called ROPS 2D, developed by Ammann and its Australian distributor, Conplant. The system measures articulation angle, vibration settings, and travel speed to warn the operator when the machine approaches the threshold of rolling over. It then shuts off oscillation if the machine reaches that threshold.
