International markets boost growth for Kiloutou
08 September 2026
France-based rental major Kiloutou has reported strong growth in its international markets, while continuing to see declines at home.
The company’s consolidated revenue for the second quarter grew by 8.1% to €350.2 million, driven by the robust performance of the International market, while headwinds in its home market of France impacted growth. Revenue in France reached €188.1 million, a decrease of -3.2% on the same period in 2025. However, combined revenue outside of France stood at €162 million, up by 25.1%. In comparison, Kiloutou’s revenue over the half year to 30 June grew by 6.2%.

Olivier Colleau, CEO of Kiloutou Group, said, “In a challenging French market, our second-quarter performance highlights the strength and resilience of our international growth model alongside our tight operational discipline. By expanding our footprint beyond our core domestic market and protecting our margins, we have delivered solid top-line growth while enhancing cash generation.”
Second quarter EBITDA increased by 10.1% to €138.4 million overall, compared to the second quarter in 2025. France saw its EBITDA drop by 1.1% to €79.4 million.
The company maintained a stable financial position in Q2 despite acquisitions in the first half year, including in Portugal, Spain and Italy, as well as the UK and Ireland, where Kiloutou entered the markets for the first time with the acquisition of KDM Hire Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland in April. It ended the period with net debt of €2.1 billion and €53.9 million in recurring free cash flow, with the company arranging new financing to replace €800 million of secured company debt in April.
Other highlights of the second quarter, said the company, were the reorganisation of the group’s executive committee, following the appointment of Joanne Van Doesburg as Group HR director, Antoine Clech as chief financial officer, and Jan Luc Ambre as international director. The company also received the Great Place To Work certification for Kiloutou Spain in 2026 and Employee Gold for Kiloutou Italy.
Colleau added, “Our momentum is backed on solid foundations: our team’s commitment, once again recognised through new workplace distinctions in Spain and Italy, and a strengthened executive leadership team built to steer our global ambitions. As we enter the second half of the year, we remain fully focused on maintaining tight financial discipline while continuing to drive selective growth.”
