IAPAs and IPAF Summit rescheduled to mid-October

17 March 2026

IPAF and KHL Group announces that the 2026 International Awards for Powered Access (IAPAs) and the IPAF Summit, scheduled to be held in Istanbul, Turkey on 21 and 22 April, will be rescheduled to 14 and 15 October this year.

The event has been delayed as a result of current events in the Middle East and the need to ensure the safety and wellbeing of delegates, sponsors and employees.

In particular, we are aware of the uncertainties around travel for delegates from the Middle East, including companies from the region shortlisted for the awards.

IAPA 2026 - NEW DATE

Delegates will be able to transfer their event booking to the new dates in October. Those unable to attend the event on the new dates are requested to contact IPAF - see details below. Delegates will also have to reschedule hotel and airline bookings.

Peter Douglas, CEO of IPAF said; “As joint organisers we regret the need to take this action, but it had become clear in recent days that we had no choice but to change the dates.

“The safety of all those involved in the Summit and IAPAs is paramount. We know this will be an inconvenience for all those attending the event and we ask for your understanding.

“We hope that by mid-October the situation in the region will be such that we can meet and enjoy this annual celebration of our industry.”

Steve Webb, Events Manager at KHL added; “I echo Peter’s regret that we have to take this action, but we were left with no choice.

“The new dates in October will allow us to use the same hotels for the networking reception, the IPAF Summit and the IAPA awards.

“The three hotels that were recommended on the event website are aware of the date changes. We thank delegates for their understanding.”
