HSS Hire wins £5 million Simons Group contract

HSS Hire has been appointed exclusive plant outsource provider to Simons Group in the UK. The contract is valued at around £5 million (€5.82 million) and will run for three years, with a further two-year option.
UK-based HSS Hire won the contract after a six-month tender, during which time the firm had to demonstrate that it could meet the contract requirements.
Simons Group is a privately owned property company. The group provides design and construction services and specialises in complex new builds, fit outs, maintenance and aftercare for building projects.
As part of expansion plans to extend its tool hire offering, HSS will supply and manage all Simons Group site establishment, accommodation and security requirements, as well as plant and equipment for every Simons Group project nationwide. HSS will also provide health and safety training.
Simons Group provides services to a number of big brand names in the UK, including Tesco, Vodafone, Marks & Spencer and House of Fraser. The group also works with NHS Trusts around the country.
