Construction equipment rental and sales company HKL Baumaschinen has revealed it is expanding its portfolio of electric equipment in its rental range throughout Germany.

According to the company, the range includes demolition hammers, vibratory plates, concrete trowels, mini excavators, wheel loaders and dumpers as well as “a large selection of electric work platforms.”

HKL said the new additions are “perfectly suited for sensitive construction site areas such as interiors or inner-city construction sites with emission restrictions” and “deliver the same power as conventional motors.”

Ulf Böge, head of corporate communications at HKL Baumaschinen, said, “As a large company in our industry, we take our responsibility seriously. In this context, the expansion of our e-range is also taking place.

“The new additions in the zero-emission range make our unique range of services even more interesting and diverse for our customers – they can also react flexibly and quickly to requirements in terms of noise and exhaust emissions. The use of our electrical products offers numerous advantages for the environment, users and construction site operators.”

Founded in 1970, HKL has more than 170 locations in Poland, Austria and its native Germany. The company first introduced electric machines into its rental fleet in 2016, and has also launched specialist divisions for access, power and pumps in recent years.
