Himoinsa’s new genset diagnostic tool

Himoinsa has launched a diagnostic system for the maintenance and repair of its generator sets.

Described by Himoinsa as reliable and comprehensive, the multi-brand system enables users to diagnose and repair all generators that are powered by electronic engines, regardless of the engine manufacturer.

According to the company, the system allows the user to see the condition of the unit in real time and help to identify fault codes, the part and its location.

Users can then perform actions that involve modifying parameters in different ECUs, such as calibrating sensors, configuring operating parameters or replacing and regenerating the DPF.

Commenting on the system, Jorge Torres, Himoinsa’s after sales director, says it “streamlines the equipment repair process” by providing access to detailed technical information such as “images, graphics and diagrams for whatever model you are diagnosing, but it also regenerates the after-treatment systems in S5 (StageV) generator sets.”

Javier Escudero, spare parts manager, Himoinsa, added, “This tool will undoubtedly ensure that our customers will be able to diagnose their Himoinsa equipment with greater running time and precision.

“The tool is now available at Himoinsa and customers can ask the After-Sales and Spare Parts teams for it as of now.”
