Haulotte sets China goals

Haulotte has stepped up its initiative in China to strengthen its local presence and develop collaborations with institutional stakeholders and industry professionals.

Representatives from the company met in Shanghai with the authorities of the Minhang and Yangpu districts to identify opportunities for cooperation around industrial development, technological innovation and urban renewal projects.

The Haulotte China team of Damien Gautier, Managing Director APAC & Middle East and Roy BA, General Manager Haulotte Shanghai, accompanied by Li Zhang, of YEG Group, also held meetings in Beijing with the China International Contractors Association (CHINCA) and the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME).

Discussions focused on the integration of Haulotte solutions into international infrastructure projects, as well as on the internationalisation of equipment and safety standards.

“These exchanges pave the way for future collaborations with Chinese companies involved in projects abroad,” said Haulotte.

Finally, in Guangzhou, Haulotte China took part in the anniversary conference of the AWP Rental Association as a sponsor and the only non-Chinese manufacturer present. Roy BA highlighted Haulotte’s overall value proposition for rental companies: equipment reliability, optimisation of operating costs and long-term asset value.

Haulotte added that, “It intends to establish a long-term presence within the Chinese ecosystem, combining technological expertise, local proximity and close collaboration with key market players and institutions.”
