The next 12 months will be very busy for ERA, with many activities planned to promote rental, provide practical tools to support the industry and share knowledge and best practices on key issues.
These include:
ERA Convention 2024 and European Rental Awards
The 18th annual ERA Convention and 17th European Rental Awards will take place on 15 and 16 May in Lisbon Portugal.
The ERA Convention is the premier event for the European equipment rental industry and brings together more than 300 leading voices from rental companies and suppliers to the industry to network, learn and share. The theme for this year’s event is ‘The future of rental solutions’.

European Rental Week
After a successful launch in 2023, the second European Rental Week will take place from 14 to 20 October 2024.

Attracting and retaining people in rental
ERA has partnered with Eurogroup Consulting to conduct a comprehensive study addressing attraction and retention challenges in the equipment rental industry.
The study aims to provide valuable insights for rental companies and the findings will offer essential recommendations for rental companies to enhance their appeal and improve employee retention.
Other projects like Occupational safety and health (OSH), the Carbon reporting guidance or the Practical guide to sustainability will be detailed in our next articles.
