Great response to second European rental awards

Over 30 entries have been received for the second IRN/ERA European Rental Awards, to be presented during the European Rental Association (ERA) annual convention on 26-27 May in Manchester.

The awards are smaller in scale this year, with four categories being contested instead of the eight last year. The categories are for Rental Company of the Year (large and small), Rental Product of the Year and the IRN/ERA Rental Person of the Year.

The judging panel meets in Paris on 16 April to finalise the shorlists and winners. The shortlisted companies will be announced shortly after the judging meeting, with the awards presented in Manchester on 26 May at the Awards Dinner.

Meanwhile, ERA has arranged a full conference and seminar programme for the convention. Keynote speaker will be George Burnett, the former chief executive and founder of the Ashtead Group.
