Global Rental Alliance welcomes new member

The Turkey Construction Equipment Distributions & Manufacturers Association (IMDER) has joined the Global Rental Alliance (GRA), a networking organisation of equipment rental associations.

The announcement was made during the latest GRA meeting, which took place after the ERA Convention in Lisbon earlier this month. 

As well as announcing the membership of IMDER, which becomes the ninth member to join the GRA, the Alliance also discussed the upcoming European Rental Week.

Scheduled for 14th to 20th October, this year marks the second time the event has taken place. 

The GRA said its members had expressed strong commitment to actively participate in a Global Rental Week, which would be similar to the European Rental Week but at a worldwide level.

Their involvement will include promoting the rental industry through various social media platforms, thereby increasing visibility and engagement. 

The members also emphasized their intention to continue collaborating on joint publications, as demonstrated by the success of the “Reasons to Rent” initiative, while the Global Rental Alliance said it aims to develop and launch more common projects in the future.
