Germany’s construction turnaround now not expected until 2027

Germany’s construction industry has downgraded its revenue expectations for 2026, as the forecast for a long-awaited turnaround in the sector was pushed out to 2027.

Construction industry association Bauindustrie dropped its forecast for 2026 revenue from 2.5% real growth to just 1%.
