GAP adopts UK emissions compliance scheme

GAP Hire Solutions, the UK’s largest independent rental company has taken on the CESAR ECV Scheme for ride-on units in its fleet.

The company confirmed it has been fitting the CESAR ECV Scheme to all new ride-on plant purchased from October 2020.

CESAR (Construction and Agricultural Equipment Security and Registration Scheme) ECV (Emissions Compliance Verification) is a system designed to help identify the emission stage of a machine. It is the only official registration scheme of its kind for construction machines.
