UK rental company Facelift Access Hire has begun 2013 with a more than £1.5 million (US$2.4 million) investment in new products.

The company has invested in 68 new pieces of powered access equipment, which will be available at its Birmingham, Southampton, London, Liverpool and Newcastle depots.

Paul Standing, operations director at Facelift commented: “Innovations are being made all the time with regards the height, weight and reach of access equipment, so we constantly replenish our equipment to ensure that we can provide the best possible service to our customers.

“This policy doesn’t just mean that we’ve always got the best new technology at our disposal, it also means that our kit is much less likely to break down than those of our competitors. This significant investment is a clear sign that Facelift, like our kit, is consistently on the up.”

The total investment of £1,573,119, includes: 12 Niftylift HR17D 4x4; 12 HR12Ns, six Niftylift HR21D 4x4, six Niftylift HR15NDEs, six Niftylift 120 X-Trax Narrow, six Niftylift 170 X-Trax, six Haulotte Star 10s, six Skyjack SJ12s, six Skyjack SJ16s, one Pagliero Multitel SMX225 and one Multitel SMX250.
