Eurozone’s construction buyers maintain gloomy outlook

Sentiment among European construction buyers remained firmly in negative territory in July, even as the rate of contraction in construction activity softened.

The latest S&P Global Eurozone Construction Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) recorded the slowest rate of decline in activity for four months in July but it remained historically sharp.
